Sopra Steria implements an incident management component in GAS-X GDM 2.0

In response to numerous customer requests, Sopra Steria is developing an incident management component in the GAS-X module GDM 2.0.

The task of the software solution realised as an efficient ticket system is the systematic monitoring and tracking of “incidents" in remote meter reading.

Incidents may be, for example, errors or problems in retrieving data itself (e.g. station does not respond, disconnection, etc.), faults or anomalies in the retrieved data, or specific error messages from the meters.

In addition to the communication with the responsible revisors, incident management also includes the traceability and documentation of the troubleshooting.

The advantages are obvious: GAS-X customers save additional efforts, standardise their system landscape and improve the workflow in incident management.
