Sopra Steria will introduce a software solution for remote meter reading and metering value processing for Thüringer Energienetze GmbH & Co. KG (TEN), a subsidiary of TEAG Thüringer Energie AG.
As the largest distribution grid operator in the German Bundesland Thuringia, TEN assumes all infrastructural services for electricity and gas distribution as well as the connection to local generation plants. TEN operates a dense gas grid and provides services regarding storage operation and gas entry facilities.
Sopra Steria holds many years of experience in designing and planning business processes in the fields of metering data management, remote meter reading and technical quantity determination.
Our GAS-X GDM 2.0 software product has an integrated remote metering data access system for conventional facilities as well as facilities with a digital interface for gas metering devices (DSfG). It will be implemented along with our APM middleware which will be used for system integration, workflow management (BPM) and data mapping including EDIFACT adapter.
To ensure availability, the system will be structured in an Active/Active cluster.
