Gas shippers have substantially changed their booking behaviour as a result of KARLA Gas requirements for marketing capacities. Bookings must be made more promptly and the number of bookings, contracts and billing tasks are continually on the increase. Consequently, the path from booking to invoicing needs to be as direct as possible, with no interfaces and format conversions hindering the process. Redundant master data and interfaces are a disruptive factor for business partners, the network model, bookings, entries, exits and similar concerns. They increase the risk of errors.
GAS-X GRID assists system operators in implementing complex requirements and effortlessly integrates different processes – from capacity management to billing. Capacity and contract management functions are provided by the GAS-X GRID contracting component, which enables direct communication with the European capacity platform PRISMA in the capacity marketing context.
With GAS X, system operators benefit from defining and running core processes in capacity management, capacity booking, contract handling, transport quantity allocation and billing in a single IT system with a uniform data model. More information about GAS-X GRID >>
