E.ON relies on the new GAS-X GDM 2.0 solution to handle the technical volume determination for yet another of the company’s distribution system operators. This concludes E.ON’s efforts to harmonise the EDM landscape of its DSO subsidiaries.
E.DIS is the fourth E.ON DSO to make the switch to GAS-X GDM 2.0. Avacon, Hansewerk and Bayernwerk are already using the system.
By the end of 2016, all E.ON grid operators will be using a unified, tenant-based GAS-X system to handle energy determination processes.
The energy data required for commercial processes will be transferred to SAP IS-U automatically on a daily basis.
By consolidating its software landscape and by harmonising its gas billing processes, E.ON is improving efficiency and saving costs for operation, service and maintenance.
